Love this stop! Have just about everything you could want on the long drive out NW. I usually call in and just pick up my order saving time for the stop. Btw, my two favorite things here is the full coffee bar and the bakery. Way to go Gore's!
I knew within 60 seconds of ordering they couldn't manage to make a simple ice coffee. Let's see: cold double strength coffee and ice, right? No!
It's starts with 1/2 cup of half and half (@ 90 cals per tbsp). Then you add hot brew coffee. Then you put in 1 1/2 cups of ice to REALLY water the flavor down. Then you serve it like you didn't just take a dump on 110 years of Italian coffee culture.
We stopped in the travel plaza for dinner & decided to check out Delizioso. This was our first time and we were unfamiliar with the surroundings. We approached an older employee named Heather and boy had I wish we hadn't. I have to be blunt and say that interacting with Heather was one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I've had to endure. This person has no business working in customer service. After our experience we won't be returning.
The supreme pizza was good. But, was disappointed in the customer service. I was really upset that's place that sells pizzas to go didn't seem to have napkins and did NOT have any paper plates. The staff didn't seem to care they didn't as well.
As a coffee bar this place is a dismal failure for me. There were 3 ladies behind the counter this morning and I have to say I was surprised to find everyone of them completely obtuse.
